About Dr. Laidlaw
Andrea Laidlaw, DMD
Dr. Laidlaw, a native of the Pacific Northwest, received her undergraduate education in biology at the University of Puget Sound, in Tacoma, Washington. She then attended Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Laidlaw then went on to do her post-doctoral residency in orthodontics at OHSU and earned her certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She has published several articles in professional journals and served for many years as the the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists’ Constituent Representative to the American Association of Orthodontists’ Council on New & Young Members.
Dr. Laidlaw began practicing in Hillsboro in 2000 and has been an active member of the community. She is known as a warm and caring professional who strives to achieve outstanding results for her patients. She is an associate clinical professor in the graduate orthodontic residency program at OHSU, where she helps train future orthodontists as well as stays up-to-date on the latest advances in orthodontics. She is an active member of several professional organizations and has also held leadership positions in many.
Dr. Laidlaw is happily married to her husband, Pat, and loves to spend time with him and their two children. They enjoy involvement in their church, numerous outdoor activities and travel.
